Hear industry heavyweights from across the country delve into topics including the city economy, commercial property and education at the AEDA Business Summit, with ticket sales closing on 17 May 2023.

Speakers at the event include South Australian Productivity Commission Chair Adrian Tembel, The Demographics Group Director and Co-Founder Simon Kuestenmacher and keynote speaker Kate Pounder, Chief Executive Officer of the Technology Council of Australia.
Ms Pounder says the Summit, supported by the City of Adelaide, will be a chance to discuss the little-known fact that Adelaide features in the top ten regions for tech jobs growth in the country.
"My focus at the Summit will be on the steps SA needs to take to capture the huge opportunities to accelerate growth of its tech sector and tech jobs, building on the state’s strengths in areas like defence, medical, space and communications technologies," Ms Pounder says.
"Importantly, the growth of the tech sector is not just relevant to tech companies, it is important for the whole Adelaide business community.
"In the 21st century, every business has skin in the game when it comes to issues like ensuring we have enough tech workers, that we have strong cyber security settings, and that we are encouraging technology investment."
A program for the event has been released. It includes discussions and panels about topics including:
- global trends, challenges and opportunities, hosted by Mr Kuestenmacher
- Adelaide's innovative future, hosted by Mr Tembel
- the outlook and demand for commercial property
- a greater technology workforce in Adelaide
- a new era or growth for the city
- the opportunities and implications of a potential university merger.
