The Adelaide Economic Development Agency (AEDA)'s in-person tourism forum will share the latest updates on Adelaide’s visitor economy.
AEDA is excited to bring a session packed with insights from expert speakers who will share the latest data, facts and trends to support your business decisions in the visitor economy.
Hear from the AEDA Team who will provide an overview of key trends, data insights, and strategic initiatives driving the growth of the tourism sector. Attendees will also gain an understanding of AEDA’s recent marketing efforts and their impact on visitation and economic development.

AEDA Industry Development Advisor Gemma Nelson
Gemma Nelson leads the Visitor Economy Strategy for Adelaide’s CBD, working with industry to foster long-term growth and drive positive economic outcomes. She collaborates with stakeholders to enhance tourism experiences, support business resilience, and position Adelaide as a vibrant, year-round destination. With 20 years of experience in tourism, hospitality, sales, and destination development, she is passionate about building a strong and sustainable visitor economy.

AEDA Economic Research and Data Analyst Jordon Tomopoulos
Jordon Tomopoulos monitors the city’s economy and provides insight into an array of focus areas, supporting the evaluation of initiatives to inform strategic decisions at AEDA. Using his tertiary qualifications in economics and background in market research, Mr Tomopoulos uses both quantitative and qualitative research to analyse data and provide meaning to economic trends.

AEDA Executive Manager of Marketing and Tourism Michael Rossi
Michael Rossi heads the AEDA marketing and tourism department, delivering strategies and campaigns that promote economic growth and attract visitors to the city and North Adelaide. Drawing on an 18-year career in marketing, with qualifications in media studies and public relations, Mr Rossi works with stakeholders to attract investment in the city and highlight Rundle Mall as a premier shopping destination.

South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC) Strategy & Insights Senior Manager Adam Stanford
Adam Stanford heads up SATC's strategic planning, economic impact and consumer research functions, ensuring that the actions of the commission are focused on achieving the ambitious potential of $12.8 billion in visitor expenditure South Australia by 2030. Mr Stanford leads a team of research professionals and is responsible for identifying and driving strategic projects within the SATC and providing evidenced based insights.
