NYE Activities and Events Fund Open Now

Applications are now open for AEDA's 2023 New Year’s Eve Activities and Events Fund. The initiative provides support to venues and organisations to invigorate different parts of the city and amplify business-driven festivities that draw in larger crowds and enhance the liveliness of public spaces. The funding can be utilised for both event operation expenses and the costs tied to public realm events, including road closures and traffic management.

The latest round of AEDA's Strategic Partnerships Program offers organisations up to $300,000 of funding for proposals that significantly support one or more of the following areas: business growth and sustainability, leveraging investment in the city’s innovation assets, improving access to funding and increasing innovation and adaptability. Applications close 18 September.
