Get game ready for the rugby

Capitalise on increased spending in the CBD and North Adelaide when the British & Irish Lions play at Adelaide Oval on Saturday, 12 July. The event is expected to inject an additional $12.5 million into the city’s economy, and businesses can take advantage by extending trading hours or accessing free promotional support.

Marching into record-breaking spend, new AEDA data shows

The city and North Adelaide achieved record-breaking consumer expenditure in March, with spending up five per cent compared to the same period last year. New Adelaide Economic Development Agency (AEDA) data shows more than $371 million was spent in March 2025, up from $353 million in March 2024. It comes as Rundle Mall experienced its busiest weekend for foot traffic last month.
