Exclusive trading hours in the CBD over Easter holiday

The State Government has given Rundle Mall and the wider CBD exclusive trading hours over the Easter holiday period. CBD traders will be able to open on Easter Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Easter Monday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Suburban retailers, excluding hardware, furniture, floor coverings, and motor vehicle parts and accessories shops, can only open on Saturday.

Changes to sexual harassment rules in the Fair Work Act
Changes to sexual harassment rules in the Fair Work Act

The Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) has been amended, in accordance with the Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Secure Jobs, Better Pay) Act 2022 (Cth), to prohibit sexual harassment in the workplace. The Fair Work Commission now has expanded powers to address allegations of sexual harassment in the workplace, including the ability to arbitrate the dispute, with consent from the applicant. It can also implement a ​“stop sexual harassment" order.
