Adelaide to Take Centre Stage for World-Class Corporate Events at Dreamtime 2023
Dreamtime 2023, Tourism Australia's signature biennial incentive showcase, will position Adelaide as a focal point for international event planners and media in November. This event marks Australia's resurgence in hosting international business events and aims to reignite awareness and interest in the country, while driving long-term economic growth for the state.
With the valuable support of Business Events Adelaide, the strategic partner of the Adelaide Economic Development Agency (AEDA), Dreamtime 2023 marks a significant return to the events calendar since 2019.
Positive Impact on Adelaide
The event offers a platform for some of Adelaide's newest infrastructure, such as Sofitel Adelaide, Adelaide Oval Hotel, and Eos by SkyCity, to shine, highlighting the city's potential to deliver world-class corporate events.
With the previous Dreamtime held in Perth generating 36 business leads within three-months, amounting to an economic value of $97 million, it is hopeful that the upcoming November event in Adelaide will generate a higher number of leads and add to the array of activities aimed at attracting business events.
South Australian Minister for Tourism, Zoe Bettison said events like Dreamtime attract international attention to our beautiful state as an outstanding business events destination and promote Australia to the rest of the world.
“We feel very proud that Adelaide has won the highly competitive process to host Dreamtime; an important and prestigious business event that Business Events Adelaide has been instrumental in winning for our State, Minister Bettinson said.
“As a state we have a proven track record of hosting successful events in Adelaide, and we welcome Dreamtime to South Australia.”

The presence of decision makers from these markets ensures maximum exposure for Adelaide as a premier business events destination.
