The Adelaide Economic Development Agency (AEDA) has appointed three new members to its Advisory Committee, enhancing its efforts to support city businesses, mainstreets, and precincts.

Fashion stylist and producer Mirella Romano will serve for two years on the Advisory Committee, while CYBR Chief Executive Jasmin Ilic and CareWindow National Sales Manager Alfredo Cabada each secured a three-year term.

The Committee, spearheaded by McGees Property Sales and Leasing Associate Director Tim Pozza, provides valuable guidance to the AEDA Board.

AEDA Board Chair Steve Maras says the new members offer a unique perspective to support city growth.

"Mirella, Alfredo, and Jasmin all come highly regarded, and we are eager to see how their expertise will strengthen AEDA's connections with local businesses and the broader community,” Mr Maras says.

“Fashion, innovation and technology are all strong growth areas propelling Adelaide’s economy, so it is important these areas are all represented by the best in the field.

“The Board looks forward to the contribution the trio will make to the city.”

Ms Romano, former owner-operator of Naked fashion store on Rundle Street and previously Sunday Mail Fashion Stylist and Editor, has dressed the likes of Miranda Kerr, Jennifer Hawkins and Megan Gale.

She has also been a part of ADL Fashion Week events, as well as campaigns for Rundle Place.

“Throughout my 20-year career, I have gained a deep understanding of Adelaide's economic landscape, its challenges, and its immense potential,” Ms Romano says.

“My firsthand experience in this vibrant city has instilled in me a strong commitment to supporting and nurturing its growth.”

“Having moved between Sydney, Melbourne and Hong Kong, Adelaide remains, and will always be, my home—a city I am dedicated to championing on all fronts.”

The trio join Perks Chief Executive James Black and GPN Vaccines Chief Operating Officer Lauren Giorgio.
