After two years in Rymill Park and at various ‘Midnight Moment’ venues across the city and North Adelaide, the City of Adelaide are excited to be welcoming in the New Year with a bang!
Elder Park / Tarntanya Wama will again host South Australia’s most celebrated end-of-year event – the City of Adelaide’s NYE 2023. The surrounds, including the iconic Riverbank Bridge and Adelaide Oval, provide the perfect backdrop for two stunning fireworks shows at 9:00 pm and midnight, with entertainment all night long.
Inspired by a return to NYE’s long-time home, this year’s event will transform the Riverbank Precinct into a place of celebration showcasing talented South Australian artists, breathtaking pyrotechnics and tantalising food and drink. This event will be a fun, safe, and welcoming place to bring in the New Year.
The City of Adelaide is proud to be able to deliver a free community event in a world class location that is welcoming to a diverse audience filled with thousands of people at all stages of life to celebrate and share the passing of one year and the start of another.
Gates at Elder Park will open to the public at 5:30 pm, with entry from King William Road and crowd capacity to be limited to 25,000 people at any one time.
Bring your own blanket to picnic by the river, grab a spot to watch the fireworks, and see in the New Year with the City of Adelaide.
