The Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) is Australia’s national platform for digital tourism information. Eligible tourism businesses can easily create a listing for their tour, experience, event, accommodation, food and drink establishment and more — free of charge!
By creating a listing in the ATDW database, you can benefit from visibility on SouthAustralia.com, Australia.com website, and ExperienceAdelaide.com.au as well as the websites of more than 250 other tourism distributors.
During their search, users can easily filter across live music, free events, arts and culture, workshops, sporting, and more categories to find something of interest.

Over 5 months, between 1 July and 30 November 2024, ATDW listings featured on Adelaide Economic Development Agency’s (AEDA) consumer facing platform, ExperienceAdelaide.com.au, saw significant engagement and reach*:
- Business and event listings generated 17,055 outbound clicks, attracting interest from 10,016 users. AEDA’s ongoing investment in the platform has led to a 100% increase in outbound clicks and a 101% increase in users, compared with figures from 2023.
- The 'What's On' landing page attracted notable attention, amassing 50,645 page views (up 30.8% from 2023) from 31,789 potential visitors (up 23.37% from 2023).
- A total of 1483 event listings, collectively garnered another 196,392 page views from 99,372 users, indicating a strong interest in the city's diverse events and activities.
- Several listings directed a high number of outbound clicks to their respective websites, notably: The Soho Supper Club, Adelaide Gaol, 2KW Bar & Restaurant, Adelaide Central Market, and Sol Bar and Restaurant.
- Events and festivals such as Illuminate Adelaide, The Last Lap Party, Chihuly in the Botanic Garden, Empyre Fire Festival, OzAsia Festival, City Lights and EDEN had some of the highest 'book now' clicks, highlighting Adelaide's vibrant and varied event landscape.
This level of engagement is invaluable for tourism operators looking to capture the attention of potential visitors looking to discover what Adelaide CBD and North Adelaide has to offer.
