Adelaide CBD poised for major spending during 2025 Gather Round

City venues can be part of the Make Music Day mini festival by hosting a gig on Saturday, 21 June 2025. Venues can make the most of the festival by giving performers an opportunity to play micro-gigs around town, which will be promoted by the City of Adelaide (CoA). If support is needed, the CoA can match interested performers with venues that haven’t hosted music events before.

Not-for-profit organisations can apply for AEDA funding to assist in the staging of medium and major events between 1 July 2025 and 30 July 2028. The Events and Sponsorship Program aims to support events that contribute to a vibrant and dynamic city experience, drive visitation and spend, and support local businesses. Funding may be provided for up to three years. Applications close 12am ACST Monday, 21 April 2025.
