More businesses in Adelaide are embracing co-working environments for their central locations, flexible terms and cost efficiencies, sparking significant sector momentum. Leading national providers, including Tank Stream Labs and Cubes.Co, have recently established a local presence, with Cubes.Co investing more than $4 million to support its Adelaide expansion. The duo's decision to invest in co-working spaces in Adelaide aligns with new AEDA data that reveals a growing demand for flexible workspace solutions in the city.
Build Connections at the Australia- ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Business Forum
The Australia-ASEAN Business Forum will be held in Adelaide for the first time since 2014, strengthening ties and accelerating growth between Southeast Asia and Australia. More than 750 leaders, policy makers and diplomats will come together for the event, on 26–27 August 2025, which includes high profile speakers and an exhibition for businesses to build relationships with delegates. The event aims to create relationships between countries and open up pathways for trade, investment and innovation.

Time is running out to be part of the 2025 ADL Fashion Week program. Applications are open to host an Associated Event or Runway moment and position your brand within Adelaide’s premier fashion festival. ADL Fashion Week will run between 8-12 October 2025.

Adelaide’s trajectory is fuelled by robust business growth, a thriving visitor economy and an increasing demand for high-quality commercial property, according to leading industry and research experts. At AEDA’s Data4Lunch event last week, Committee for Adelaide Chief Executive Sam Dighton and AEDA Economic Research Advisor Jordon Tomopolous explored the city’s progress, highlighting impressive gains in workforce participation, business activity, major events, tourism, construction and the property market.
City of Adelaide Central Ward Supplementary Election update
The City of Adelaide is currently holding a Supplementary Election to fill four Central Ward Councillor vacancies. Ballot papers from eligible voters must be completed and received by the Electoral Commission of SA by Monday 25 August 2025 at noon. All voting in council elections is undertaken by postal ballot.
Host a Market Stall on Hutt Street
Local artists, producers, designers, makers and more can apply for a stall at the Hutt Street Market. The Hutt Street Traders Association is seeking stallholders to join the market, which will be held on the first Saturday of each month until December.
