AEDA Executive Manager, Business and Investment, Tiffany Katchmar, spoke at the Property Council of South Australia’s Office Market Report breakfast earlier this month to spotlight Adelaide’s sustained job growth. Around 20,000 roles are expected to hit the city jobs market, bringing more people into the CBD and North Adelaide and fostering a vibrant and resilient city economy.
The 2025–26 NRMA Insurance Ashes series and midnight trading in Rundle Mall supported record festive period spending, according to new AEDA data. Adelaide hit an all-time monthly high of $430 million in December 2025—a five per cent increase compared to the same time in 2024. Spending peaked at more than $28 million in a single day on Friday, 19 December 2025, proving major events and Rundle Mall drive powerful economic returns for the city.
The CoA's Sustainability Incentive Scheme (SIS) provides cash back for businesses to make sustainable practices and technology more accessible and affordable.
